Sea View Rooms
These spacious contemporary rooms of 39 square meters boast the most spectacular views of Hout Bay beach and mountains, unique to any hotel in the area. The beds can be configured to either twin or king size beds. The en-suite bathrooms are separated from the bedroom by wooden shutters so that guests have the option of enjoying the view from the bathroom. The bathrooms feature a bath for 2, separate shower, double basins, under floor heating and an enclosed toilet. Other features in the room include: couch and desk workstation, flat screen LCD TV, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. These rooms include a spacious private balcony with outdoor seating and lounging area.
Penthouse Suites
These suites are ideal for honeymoon couples, intimate & exclusive getaways or executive business travel
The suites will offer guests ultimate luxury, space on a grand scale at 78 square meters, and sweeping, spectacular views of the bay. The main bedroom, with its own fireplace, will feature an open-plan bathroom with an elegant free-standing bath, large shower, double basins, and enclosed toilet & bidet. The lounge has a large & comfortable seating area around the fireplace & TV, with an open-plan dining area with kitchenette and bar facilities. The lounge has a workdesk to allow for in-room meetings. The spacious balcony, at 60 square meters with private outdoor plunge pool, overlooks the entire bay and allows for private sunbathing.

These magnificent en-suite rooms, 28 square meters in size, boast spectacular mountain views and are surrounded by indigenous forest. The beds can be configured to either twin or king size beds. The bathrooms are equipped with a bath with overhead shower, enclosed toilet and underfloor heating. Courtyard and Sea Facing
These charming rooms are situated in the historical building. Four of the rooms boast sea-facing vistas across the Hout Bay Harbour to the Sentinel Mountain on the one side and Noordhoek on the other.
The rooms are all en-suite with either a shower or a bath with overhead shower. Stylish wall mosaics adorn the wall above the bath and stone-designed floors in the showers give a natural earthy feeling. In refurbishing the rooms we retained the unique charm of a bygone era but added modern touches to add comfort and style for your stay. The interior decor lends itself to a warm, calming & relaxed ambience. Room configurations vary from queen size to twin-bedded rooms. Tea & coffee making facilities are also available in each room. Please note that these rooms do not offer TV nor in-room phones.
The Western Cape has endless sandy beaches. The combination of the two oceans offers a variety of beaches, all of which are very accessible from the Chapmans Peak Beach Hotel.
Hout Bay Beach
Just across the road from the hotel! The white sandy beautiful beach, popular with families, stretches from Chapmans Peak Drive to the Hout Bay Harbour and has spectacular mountain surrounds. Visitors can enjoy a cool swim, sunbathing and beach games. There are a number of water sports available on the beach. The best spot for swimming is the section closest to the hotel. Horse riding can be arranged along this beach, an amazing experience. Many whales have been spotted in the Bay. This occurs during the months of August - October. Whale spotting can be enjoyed from your private balcony in the sea facing rooms.
Llandudno Beach
Just a 10 minute drive from Chapmans Peak Beach Hotel. This beach is considered to be one of the most picturesque beaches in South Africa, and consistently makes it into the top 10 beach in South Africa. Very popular with surfers but also ideal for picnics enjoying the sunset. This beach is patrolled by lifeguards due to strong currents.
Sandy Bay Beach
This can be reached by a 20 minute walk from Llandudno. It is totally enclosed by sand dunes and enjoys a degree of wind shelter. It is Cape Town´s main nudist beach, but this is not a necessity to enjoy the beach!
Camps Bay Beach & Glen Beach
Just a 15 minute drive from Chapmans Peak Beach Hotel. This beach is situated on the edge of Table Mountain, bordered with palm trees. Camps Bay Beach is an activities beach, hosting events such as Beach Volleyball championships. Glen Beach is a popular spot for surfers. Across the road from the beach the promenade offers a number of trendy restaurants, cafes and bars. This beach is the most accessible of all beaches, and consequently can be a busy spot.
Clifton Beach
Just a 20 minute drive from Chapmans Peak Beach Hotel. Clifton consists of four beaches, Clifton 1 to Clifton 4, which are separated by rocks and are totally sheltered from the wind. The fashionable beaches are popular with tourists and locals, and is often called the St Tropez of Cape Town. All of the beaches are accessible via steep stairs. The fourth beach is the most popular with families since it has the least steps.
Noordhoek Beach
Just a 15 minute drive South over the scenic Chapmans Peak Drive. The long sandy beach stretches for 8 km´s across Chapmans Peak to Onetime. This is a spectacular open beach, perfect for walking and horse riding. The waters are hazardous, but are still popular with some adventurous surfers.
The Kommetjie end of Long Beach is one of the most popular surfing spots in the Peninsula, attracting surfers, long boarders, body-boarders and swimmers as well.
Boulders Beach
Just a 30 minute drive from Chapmans Peak Beach Hotel. The beach is situated just past Simon´s Town en-route to Cape Point, and is considered to be one of the best swimming beaches in Cape Town. It is also the home of the African penguins and a must-see spot.
Fish Hoek Beach
Just a 20 minute drive from Chapmans Peak Beach Hotel. This beach is popular for a variety of activities, including sailing, surfing, paddling, snorkeling, swimming etc. It is a warm-water beach, and hence very popular with the little ones.
Muizenberg Beach
Just a 30 minute drive from Chapmans Peak Beach Hotel. This beach is famous on many Cape Town postcards with the colourful beach huts. The beach is safe for swimming and surfing. It is the home of the long board surfer and the soul of surfing in Cape Town. There are various other secluded beaches South along the road towards Kalk Bay.
